Alive! Women’s Retreat

This weekend is designed for true community with your sisters in Christ! Be refreshed by God’s Word, plus a touch of adventure and plenty of pampering. The goal is to return home renewed! We encourage you to drink coffee on the deck, chat on our circle swings, read, take a walk and enjoy time in God’s creation!

Jennifer Sands “From Tears and Trials to Perfect Peace”

Jennifer Sands lost her husband Jim Sands on September 11, 2001 in the terrible attacks on the World Trade Center.  In her words, “before 9/11, my faith in Jesus was built on sand… actually, more like quicksand. But God used the most horrific event of my life to “set my feet upon a rock, making my footsteps firm” (Psalm 40:2).   Jennifer will share her story and  teaching from Isaiah 26:3 –  “From Tears and Trials to Perfect Peace” all about how God brought spiritual blessings from her brokenness.  She wants you to know that when she speaks, she doesn’t focus on the gory details of the day – but rather focuses on how God has used this tragedy to transform her life for HIS glory over the last 20 years.

Retreat program includes four delicious meals, lodging, Biblical teaching, beautiful worship, crafts, games, campfire and s’mores, adventure activities such as zip lining, rock wall climbing, archery, and skeet shooting, optional spa treatments and guided painting, and more!
