From Series: "Genesis 25-36: Walking in Promise " God’s incredible promises to Abraham that were beginning to be seen, continue to take shape after his death and during the lives of his son and grandson (Isaac and Jacob). Both Isaac and Jacob stumble along the way, yet they also see God working both in them and around them as God’s promises of land, descendants, and blessing unfold on a larger scale.
In looking at the lives of both of these men, we learn some important lessons regarding how to and not to follow God’s leading. Through ups and downs, and triumphs and tragedies we find the same God who was faithful to them is also faithful in our lives.
