Connect

While the information below is by no means exhaustive, hopefully it paints a picture of some of the opportunities for connection available at Joy Community Fellowship.

Our goal through our connection is to train people up in God’s Word and in following the mission of Jesus, while also providing time and opportunity for each individual’s personal mission at home, school, work and in the world.

Groups

Our children’s ministry “lets kids be kids” while learning important Bible truths. Joy Kidz features classes and care for Nursery through 6th grade that meet concurrently with our time of worship at 10am on Sundays.  While parents attend church, kids age nursery through 6th grade will experience their own time of great singing, crafts, Bible lessons and fun geared to their specific age groups.  Through caring teachers and helpers we strive to create a safe environment for kids to learn and grow.

Student Ministries (6th-12th grade)

Our Jr/Sr High students meet on 1st and 3rd Wednesdays at 7pm for Bible Study where we’ll discover what God’s Word says regarding issues students encounter in everyday life.   In addition to Wednesday gatherings, we do service projects and have activities so students can have fun and invite friends.  Call Maureen for more information (609) 315-4550

Men of Joy

We reach out into our community with various other projects during the year such as studies, seminars, clean-up days, school outreachs, as well as food and school supply collection/distribution.

Girlfriend Connection (Women's Ministry)

The Girlfriend Connection meets regularly helping the women of Joy connect, grow and serve.   They share Fall and Spring Bible studies each year that reach not only women from Joy, but also into the community.  They also have an annual breakfast, Christmas party and other activities.

Studies

We offer several small groups and studies designed to connect participants to God, each other and the world around them.  In addition to Bible and practical issue studies, the groups offer time for fellowship, prayer and activities.  Check our calendar for latest studies.

Outreach Opportunities

In partnership with other area churches, we serve our community as an introduction to the Good News of Jesus through a food pantry, seasonal dinners, and service projects that provide for those in need.

Joy opens its doors and sets up on the church property  providing candy, hot dogs, water, a bonfire and information for parents and kids about Joy and some of our upcoming events.

Each Christmas season we make and distribute Christmas Cookies and homemade dog biscuits for our neighbors and furry friends as we invite them to our Christmas events at Joy.

Journey to Bethlehem is a free outreach event  alternative to Breakfast with Santa for kids and their families where participants  get to celebrate the birth of Jesus by being taken back in time to the little town of Bethlehem at the time Jesus was born.

The event features pictures taken with Mary Joseph and Jesus in the manger scene, Christmas carols, LIVE animals and crafts.

Throughout the year, Joy reaches out into the community with events and projects such as studies, seminars, clean-up days, collection/distribution of food and school supplies, school outreach and much more as God leads us.

Options’ ministry is about loving women who are facing unplanned pregnancy at a time of crisis and indecision. Options for Women is a safe haven where women and their partners can receive free medical care and non-judgmental counseling.
Joy participates through support, fundraisers as well as volunteer opportunities.
