We love kids at Joy Community Fellowship. We have an excellent nursery and Children’s Ministry program for newborns through 6th grade that is designed to provide your child with a wonderful church experience at the same time as our Worship Service.
As you enter the building you will find our elementary Sunday School down the steps and to the left and our nursery up the stairs and to the left. You will need to check your children in and pick them up at their classroom. Children will not be released from Children’s Ministry without a parent or guardian to pick them up.
We realize that a first time visit can be overwhelming and understand that some parents and/or children may not feel comfortable being separated. Children are welcome to sit with their parents/gaurdians during service, however we hope they will eventually check out our Children’s Ministry as they will love it!
The simple answer is yes and no. We do not pass an offering plate during the service, but provide an opportunity to give with a box as you come in marked “tithes and offerings” as well as online through our website.
God has, and we believe, always will provide for the needs of our church. We believe that giving is an act of worship and while we encourage and challenge our congregation to give as God has given to them, we understand that giving is something God will lay on the hearts of his people.
We love meeting new people who visit Joy, but we do not want to make you feel uncomfortable or embarrass you. We do have a gift for you to mark your visit, mention to the greeter as you enter and they will present you with a gift bag.
