Message: “Faithful in Witness” from Mark Savidge

Faithful in Witness

As we finish up 2 Timothy chapter 2, Paul shares how we most faithfully bear witness of Jesus in us, especially when facing opposition in our world.

Scripture References: 2 Timothy 2:20-26

From Series: "2 Timothy - FAITHFUL: Reflecting Jesus in Our World"

Being faithful to Jesus in our world today isn’t easy. Sharing and living out the truth of God’s Word, the Bible, is marked by risk and tension and often met with opposition. This reality is much like the Apostle Paul faced in his own ministry. From prison awaiting his execution for his faithfulness, he pens a letter to his beloved “son in the faith” Timothy. What he writes applies to all who seek to follow Jesus and make an impact where they are, including us today. Paul’s call is to “fight the good fight,” endure and be faithful to the message of salvation and the Bible because God’s truth and the Gospel always prevail and will be communicated to our world through our faithfulness.
